What we need:

Non-Perishable: Pasta, pasta sauce, soup, bread, peanut butter, jelly, canned meat, granola bars, cereal, rice, baby formula, potatoes, box milk, powdered milk, non dairy milks, rice, beans, quinoa, macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles, water, coffee, sugar, tea, flour, maseca, cooking oil, etc
 
Perishable: Cheese, fruit, eggs, veggies, meats, milk, butter
 
Household items: Paper towels, toilet paper, cleaners, soap, detergent, bleach, plastic ware, Lysol spray, Lysol wipes, disinfectants
 
Personal Care items: Tampons, sanitary napkins, toiletries, toothpaste, shampoo, all sizes diapers, baby wipes, soothers, baby bottles
 
Kids’ Activities: Coloring books, toys, sports balls, educational activities, sidewalk chalk, play-doh
 
Do you accept expired items?
No expired items will be accepted.
 
Do you accept clothing donations?
At this time, we are not able to safely store, set up or sanitize clothing donations, so we are not accepting clothes.

Where to drop off donations:

We have 5 sites where donations will be accepted Mon – Sat.
 
  • Swansfield Elementary School 10:30am – 1:30pm

  • Oakland Mills Middle School 11:30 – 1:30 / 9540 Kilimanjaro Rd., Columbia, MD 21045 (Site is located on the side of the building)
  • Lake Elkhorn Middle School 11:30 – 1:30 / 6680 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, MD 21045 (Site is located on the side of the building)
After site hours:

    A collection container has been placed in the circle of the cul-de sac on Reedy Brook Lane for donations of non perishable foods, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products.
